With over 12 years of rich and diversified experience, Ankit is a marketing specialist, disability rights activist, writer and a technology enthusiast. At the corporate, Ankit works as a marketing specialist in a Fortune 500 conglomerate. Ankit has a MBA degree from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) –University of Delhi. A social entrepreneur&founding member of Diversity & Equal opportunity Centre (DEOC) & Kick Start Cabs. A Youth Icon & has represented India at United Nations in 2015. Ankit is a member of the National Committee for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, a think tank set-up by NCPEDP where he has been a key contributor in the areas of data on disability, integration of Disability with SDGs and RPWD Act. Ankit has co-authored “A Value Route to business Success” – an HR manual developed by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and published several editorials in leading periodicals including The Hindu, Mint etc. Ankit is an industry speaker and has participated in many industry conferences / forums including Disabled People International (DPI) and Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication technology(G3ICT), National Association for Software and Services’ (NASSCOM) etc. Ankit has been the recipient of Helen Keller Awards where he was recognized as a ‘National Role Model’ in India and was featured in CNN-IBN’s Veer campaign and the bestselling title – Gifted – 15 inspiring stories of persons with disabilities.
